Our economic future is dependent on inspired young people developing and running successful businesses in careers which may not yet exist. This is especially important in the development of our rural identity.

Business at Tenbury High Ormiston Academy allows pupils to relate to current affairs in the world around them. We prepare pupils to be confident individuals who are able to deal with various aspects of business and management, whether that be in running their own business or in their chosen career. 

The curriculum challenges pupils to contribute positively to the world around them by considering the ethical aspects of different business practices, finance education and enterprise. It also ensures that pupils value education by opening pupils’ eyes to the importance of fair trade and the UK’s position in the global business landscape.
