Through our curriculum, we broaden the horizons of our learners by creating exciting, diverse and relevant topics which challenge viewpoints, contexts and perspectives. We want our pupils to leave school as effective communicators, who express themselves confidently, succinctly and imaginatively, using English accurately and clearly. We foster a love of reading by presenting our children to a wide range of literature, as we know it is one of the most powerful ways in which we can equip pupils for success in the real world. Through our progressive curriculum, we will increase the pupil’s knowledge and understanding of different cultures, human diversity and civilisations. We feel that this is especially important in a rural school. Our curriculum will stretch imaginations, foster resilience and facilitate pupils in becoming independent, life-long learners.
