PE Behaviour Policy

Dear Parents/Carers

You will be aware there have been changes to the behaviour policy at Tenbury High Ormiston Academy over the last year. As a result, we as a PE department have looked over our policy and have made some changes so that it fits better with the whole school behaviour policy. It has been changed to support with changing attitudes towards PE, promote learning and increase active time. The policy clearly outlines the expectations of pupils when they have a PE lesson and we feel that by implementing the new policy it will improve the experiences had by all students in PE at Tenbury.

I will be speaking to all pupils over the coming weeks and going through the policy with them, so they clearly know what is expected of them when they come to PE.

I have attached the PE policy so you can read it. I would like to take this opportunity to make it really clear that all ALL pupils must have their full PE kit, tie up long hair and remove any jewellery for all of their PE lessons. They will always be involved in the lesson in some capacity.
