Sponsored Walk 2026

Friday 3rd July saw the return of our original route – a 10km walk from school across fields and Public Rights of Way. This popular event encourages all of our staff and students to get out of the classroom for the afternoon and take in the beauty of our local area.

Released in year group waves, our students made their way up to Oldwood Common before crossing orchards and fields onto Hayes Lane, down Cinders Lane and back to school.

The weather was kind, the sun was shining and students were given the opportunity to mix in friendship groups across year groups and walk at their own pace. A water station and toilets were provided along the route – kindly donated by local businesses Radnor Water and Flush Away event hire.

All staff and students arrived safely back to school in time for the school buses.

The students raised a fantastic £2431.25 which will help provide further enrichment opportunities across the school! Thank you!!
