Year 7 Condover

July 2026

Year 7 visited Condover Hall near Shrewsbury in July 2026 for an outdoor activity residential. 48 pupils enjoyed fencing, kayaking, climbing, trapeze, zip wire and other adventurous sports over three days. The weather was very hot summer, so pupils enjoyed the water sports as it gave them a chance to cool off.

Whilst we were there England played Argentina in the World Cup semi-final. Sadly, we lost but this didn’t dampen the mood and pupils joined in with activities during the day and into the evening. Pupils arrived home tired (and sometimes dirty) having experienced time away from home – often for the first time. This opportunity provides pupils with a chance to bond with their peers and make new friends as well as gain confidence and independence.
