Girls U16s Football

5th October 2026

A fantastic performance from Tenbury’s U16 girls football team saw them secure a 3–2 victory over North Bromsgrove School in the Worcestershire County Cup.

Tenbury started strongly, playing a comfortable first half uphill and taking an early 2–0 lead. North Bromsgrove came out fighting after half-time and quickly brought the score level, setting up a tense final 20 minutes. Tenbury showed excellent teamwork and determination, continuing to press and create opportunities. A free kick was awarded, and Annabelle V took great pleasure in finding the back of the net to restore Tenbury’s lead, securing her hat trick.

The final whistle confirmed a 3–2 win for Tenbury — a fantastic team effort from everyone involved. A huge well done to all the girls for their hard work, teamwork and determination.

Thank you to Mr Morris for refereeing the match and to all the parents and families who came along to support the team.
