Life Beyond School

8th October 2026

Five students from the SEND department, accompanied by three members of staff, attended the Life Beyond School event at Sixways Stadium, Worcester.

The event was designed to help young people explore the opportunities available to them after they leave school. The venue was divided into three key areas: Education, Apprenticeships and Careers, and Community, providing students with access to a wide range of organisations and support services.

The exhibition stands were engaging and interactive, offering valuable advice, informative literature, games, challenges and a variety of freebies. Our students embraced the opportunity to speak with exhibitors, ask thoughtful questions and gain a greater understanding of the pathways available to them in the future.

Throughout the day, students demonstrated confidence, curiosity and maturity as they explored options they may not previously have considered. The event provided an excellent opportunity to broaden their horizons, develop their independence and begin thinking about their aspirations beyond school. It was a highly successful visit, and we are proud of how positively our students represented the school.
